21.03.2018 - Film projection "Europe: what a Passion! Story of an anguished love "
On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 10 am to 1 pm, was held in Padua, at the Multiplex Cinema Pio X in via A.F. Bonporti 22, the projection of the movie "Europe: What a Passion! Story of an anguished love "in collaboration with Europe Direct of the City of Venice and of the Province of Padua, partner of the Veneto Europe Direct network.
The event is part of the EUAct - Active Learning for an active EU citizenship project carried out by the eCampus Telematic University in collaboration with CesUE, a spin-off of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa, as part of the Erasmus + program.
The project includes a series of free activities dedicated to citizenship, schools and civil society of all 11 Italian cities in which the eCampus University is located: Turin, Como, Padua, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bari, Cagliari, Reggio Calabria, Palermo, Catania. Among these activities, in particular, the creation of "European Awareness Days" is planned in a cinema hall of each city.
The Veneto stage of these Days, realized with the support of the Europe Direct of the City of Venice, saw the free projection of the movie "Europe: What a Passion! Story of an anguished love", handled by Daniela Martinelli with Claudia Cipriani who translates the homonymous musical recital into cinematic language and which is turning Europe into multiple linguistic versions. A narrative that starts from the two world wars and reaches the present day, telling the twelve fundamental historical passages of a collective love story: the process of the European integration.
The movie was followed by a debate conducted by professors of the eCampus telematic university, which gave the participants the opportunity to explore the main issues discussed.
