Wednesday 25th of May at 17.00 it was held the Concert of Europe of the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello of Venice in collaboration with the venitioan location of the Council of Europe.

The concert it was held in the Concert Hall of the Conservatory and shared online live at the facebook page of the Europe Direct of the City of Venice and at the same time at the facebook page of the venitian site of the Council of Europe

Biographical notes of the performers
Trio Rosa Bianca is composed of three young female students trained in the Chamber Music class of maestro Giovanni Battista Rigon. The young ensemble recently performed in public at a concert organized by the San Vito al Tagliamento Philharmonic Association.
Born in 1997 in Liaoning, China, Jingwen Wang began playing the clarinet at the age of 10, and in November 2015 she enrolled at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music where she embarked on a three-year course. In May 2016 she participated in a competition in Taiwan and in the summers of 2017 and 2019 at AYMA Clarinet Music in Malaysia. For the past two years she has moved to Italy and is attending the Biennium at the Conservatory of Venice under the guidance of M° Ermanno Fugagnoli. In 2021 she won the "Giovanni Rohr" scholarship.
 
 

Youran Yu was born in 2000 in Zhejiang, China, and began playing the cello at the age of 6, winning third prize youth group at an international competition in Shanghai in 2007. In 2011 he moved to Italy with his family and continued his music studies with Alan Dario. In 2015 he enrolled at the Liceo Musicale "G. Marconi" in Conegliano (TV) where he studied with Anna Campagnaro and Giovanni La Marca. In the meantime, she joined several orchestras such as the Orchestra dei Licei Veneti and the Orchestra Giovanile Giuseppe Sinopoli with whom she got to play in the Senate in 2016 and at the Teatro Bellini in Catania in 2017. After graduating in 2020, she embarked on a three-year course at the Venice Conservatory where she studies with Maestro Angelo Zanin. 

Celeste Sartori, born in Venice in 2001, began playing the piano at a young age with teacher Elda Schiesari. She began her pre-academic course at the Conservatory in 2011 under the guidance of pianist Silvia Urbanis; meanwhile, in June 2020 she obtained her classical high school diploma at the R. Franchetti in Mestre. She is now about to conclude the three-year academic course followed by M° Muriel Chemin with whom she has been studying since 2015. Among the various cultural and musical experiences in which she has participated are masterclasses in Umbria and Tuscany with pianists such as Alfonso Soldano and Cinzia Falco and competitions including the "Concorso Pianistico città di Albenga" and the "Premio Giol 2021" where she ranked among the winners.

 

The Dietrich Trio is composed of three young students trained in the Chamber Music class by teacher Luisa Messinis.
Arianna Zivas was born in Rome in 1996 and began violin studies in 2003 with Spyros Ghikontis, associate professor at the University of Ionian, Corfu, Greece.  In 2016 he obtained a Bachelor's Degree at the Frosinone Conservatory of Music in the class of Maestro Alessando Asciolla. In 2018 he obtained a Biennial Degree with highest honors at the Conservatory of Music in Venice in the class of M° Paolo De Rossi. From 2018 to 2019 he attends the Violin Perfection Course with Felice Cusano at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and from 2019 to 2020 with Marco Fiorini. From 2020 he attends the Master of Violin with Orchestral Specialization at the Academy of Music in Malmö, Sweden, in the class of M° Marika Fältskog.  Since 2021 he has been attending the Biennium of Chamber Music in the class of M° Luisa Messinis at the Conservatory of Venice. He has also participated in Masterclasses and Courses in Italy, Greece, Germany, Sweden and Norway. She has participated in important festivals such as Festival dei Due Mondi, Accademia Chigiana, Festspiele Südtirol, New Generation Festival, Festspillene i Elverum and Festival Micat in Vertice.

Martina Donolato was born in 1999 and in October 2021 received her Level I academic diploma from the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice with highest honors in the class of Maestro Claude Padoan.  In June 2021 she won first prize in the "Giovanni Rohr" scholarship for wind instrumentalists and was chosen as soloist to perform Mozart's Fourth Concerto for Horn and Orchestra with the Conservatory Orchestra at the Cini Foundation in Venice. She has participated in some of the Conservatory's initiatives such as "Il Marcello Suona" and the famous "Ravello Festival." In 2019 she was chosen as an effective student of the "International Summer Academy" course in the class of M. Johannes Hinterholzer at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg and participated in other masterclasses by international teachers such as Mischa Greull, Sibylle Mahni. She is active in numerous orchestras such as Venice Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Machiavelli, Orchestra del Friuli Venezia Giulia, Orchestra del Teatro Verdi di Trieste. 

Dario Falcone was born in Venice on October 20, 2000. In October 2021, he graduated in piano from the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice under the guidance of Massimo Somenzi with highest honors, cum laude and distinction. He studies composition under the guidance of Daniele Zanettovich. He has participated in several musical initiatives organized by the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, including the integral performance of Beethoven's sonatas and Debussy's Preludes. In November 2018, he performed Beethoven's First Piano Concerto in C Major Op. 15 with the Conservatory Orchestra. He has been awarded prizes in various national and international piano competitions and in the years 2016, 2017, 2020, 2021 he was awarded one of the scholarships of the "Giol Prize" organized by the Conservatory of Venice. He was the overall winner of the 2nd "Giancarlo Menotti" composition competition in Spoleto in 2014 and the 4th "Arnaldo Fortini" composition competition in Assisi in 2015.
