A civil partnership between two adult persons of the same sex is formed by a declaration before the Civil Registrar and in the presence of two witnesses.
By forming a civil union, the parties acquire the same rights and duties.
In particular, the following derive from it:
-
the obligation of moral and material assistance;

Provision is made for the regulation of cases of nullity of civil unions.
