Women's March 2023

Women's March 2023 is celebrated during the month of March with a series of events proposed by the Municipality of Venice.

On March 8, International Women's Rights Day is celebrated, also known as Women's Day, to remember both the social, economic and political achievements, and the discrimination and violence to which women have been and are still subjected in every part of the world.

Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice collaborates in some of the initiatives included in the women's march 2023 organized by the Ca' Foscari University of Venice:

• Tuesday 7 March 2023, 2.30 pm at Ca' Foscari Zattere, Fondamenta Zattere Al Ponte Lungo, 1392 (VE): Iran: there is no more time!
• Wednesday 8 March 2023, 12.00pm at the Ca' Foscari University Courtyard, Dorsoduro 3246 (VE): "Women at Ca' Foscari" photographic exhibition
• Wednesday 29 March 2023, 6.00pm at The Home of the Human Safety Net, Procuratie Vecchie, Piazza San Marco 128 (VE): Recital "Rosalba Carriera A life for painting"
