21.01-21.02.2020 Exibition "The Founding Mothers and Fathers of the European Union" in Belluno

On 21 January 2020 at 11.00 the exhibition “The mothers and founders of the European Union” was opened in the Sala Affreschi of the Province of Belluno, thanks to the special collaboration between the office Europe Direct Venezia Veneto and the Province of Belluno.
The exhibition will be open from 21 January to 21 February 2020 , from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 13.00 and also on Tuesday and Thursday from 14.00 to 16.00.go aperto" a Mestre (VE)

The inauguration was attended by the President of the Province of Belluno, Roberto Padrin.

The service Europe Direct Venezia Veneto, an information point of the European Union active in the Veneto region, offers the educational exhibition “Le Madri e i Padri Fondatori dell'’Unione europea”, on official documentation of the European Commission.

The exhibition is the result of the collaboration between:
- Europe Direct Venice Veneto
- Province of Belluno
- Regional Office for Education - Office IV - Territorial area of Belluno
The exhibition is dedicated to the 7 women and 13 men - visionary leaders - who inspired the creation of the European Union in which we live today.
The following visionary leaders inspired the creation of the European Union in which we live today.
Without their commitment and motivation we cannot live in the context of peace and stability that we take for granted today. Resistance fighters or lawyers and parliamentarians, the EU pioneers were a heterogeneous group of people with the same ideals: peace, unity and prosperity in Europe.
In addition to the pioneers presented below, many others have inspired the project and worked hard to realize it.
