Traveling Performance "Europe in a suitcase"

Europe in a suitcase is an extraordinary action that mixes dance and theater and involves professional and amateur artists, handed by the dancer and choreographer Carla Marazzato, specialized in contact dance, and by the actor and director Emanuele Pasqualini, that has many active different site-specific creations.

Four actions took place on Sunday, May 6: 2 in Venice in the Piazzale of the Venice S.Lucia train station at 10.00 and 11.00 and 2 in Mestre in Via Poerio at 15.00 and at 16.00.

Through the contact dance and theater instruments, the performers came into contact with the public in a way that was out of the ordinary, not in the theater but directly on the street, on the stage of real life, in symbolic places that represent the journey, the mobility and the intercultural exchange dimension typically European. The action then developed, trying to involve those who were present. Everything turned into a big party, a lot of fun and the desire to share the joy with the people who, unexpectedly, found themselves involved in the game.
