Other European Networks
The European Union has activated on its territory several information networks useful for the citizenship, aimed at different publics:
- CDE Network - European Documentation Centers
- Eurodesk network
- EURES
- EEN Enterprise Europe Network
The CDE Centers of the European Documentation help universities and research institutes to promote and develop teaching and research concerning the European integration, encourage them to join the debates about the Europe Union and contribute to spread knowledge about the European Union policies.
All official publications of the European Union can be consulted at the CDE.

Eurodesk is the structure of the Youth Community in Action program dedicated to inform and guide young generations about programs promoted by the European Union and the Council of Europe. Eurodesk works in close cooperation with the support of the European Commission, Directorate General for Education and Culture and the Ministry of Youth of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Information and orientation activities on the Youth in Action program are carried out in direct collaboration with the National Agency for Youth. With the aim of making more accessible the use of opportunities offered by Europe to young people, Eurodesk provides information and guidance on European programs in the fields of culture, training, mobility, active citizenship and volunteering.

EURES is a portal on professional mobility

The EURES network provides services to workers, employers and all citizens wishing to take advantage of the Europeans’ right of free movement. There are three types of services provided:
- information
- advice
- recruitment / placement (supply / demand meeting).
Established in 1993, EURES is a cooperation network linking the European Commission and the public employment services of the countries belonging to the European Economic Area (EU countries plus Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein), Switzerland and other partner organizations.

The purpose of the EEN Enterprise Europe Network is to help small and medium-sized enterprises to develop their innovation potential and raise awareness about the Commission's policies. Launched in February 2008, this European Commission initiative provides entrepreneurs with a unique desk for any kind of advices and a wide range of easily accessible support services.
Small businesses, particularly in the initial stages of their activity, often do not have the resources to monitor the various types of assistance that the EU programs can provide. Furthermore, they are not always able to fully evaluate the commercial and innovative potential of their products or to explore new business opportunities, particularly outside their reference area. The Enterprise Europe network fills this gap.
With more than 500 contact points (chambers of commerce, regional development agencies and university technology centers) and 4,000 experts, it is the leading European network for all the issues concerning skills and services to businesses.
The majority of the organizations involved have already participated in the two previous business support networks, the Euro Info Centers (EIC) and the Innovation Relay Centers (IRCs), which have been in action for 20 and 12 years respectively.
