Friday, 13 December 2019 from 9.00 a.m. in Venice at Ca' Foscari University in Aula Magna Silvio Trentin (Ca' Dolfin Headquarters), the Seminar "Gender balance: Women, work and discrimination" was held.
Even today the gender difference is perceived as a boundary. Even if in Western societies and in other parts of the world, rights, forms of equal opportunities, legality, equality have grown, the relationship with diversity is still regulated by stereotypes, identity fears, evolutionary fears, violence, real and symbolic domains.
