Since 2014 Ca' Foscari University of Venice has been the first University in Italy for IF assigned and among the top European institutions (top 10 in 2017, top 6 in 2018), gaining in the call 2019 the fourth position in Europe. The University was also the first in the national context to recruit a winner of Marie Curie as Researcher "letter b".
This commitment was formally recognised by the Marie Curie Alumni Association.
For the Ca' Foscari Individual Fellowship winners, the University offers an additional contract year (Marie Curie +1) to present an ERC proposal with Ca' Foscari as host institution, or a collaborative project within Horizon 2020 as a scientific reference for Ca' Foscari, which in this case, will play the role of project partner.
