In the days of Wednesday 6, 13, 20 and 27 May 2020 at 15.00 were transmitted short videos informational "Europe in Pills", cycle realized by Europe Direct Venice/Eurodesk, Venetolavoro-Eures and the Council of Europe addressing different European issues.

The videos will be broadcasted live on Facebook: www.facebook.com/EuropeDirectVenezia e www.facebook.com/coevenezia.

=> Tuesday 5 May video NON live: Introduction to the Council of Europe, an international organization founded on 5 May 1949 by the Treaty of London, whose aim is to promote democracy, human rights and the rule of law in its 47 member states. For the occasion the video will be introduced by the Director of the Italian office of the Council of Europe. Link to the video on Facebook

=> Wednesday 6 May live video: Presentation of the European information networks at the service of citizens: Europe Direct and Eurodesk. The videos were supported by simultaneous translation into italian sign language (LIS) thanks to the collaboration of Lucia Bastarolo and Gabriel Boni (Ca' Foscari University of Venice). => Wednesday 13 May live video: Presentation of the European Employment Services (EURES), the network that has been promoting labour mobility in Europe for more than 25 years, addressing workers and employers, through information, guidance, counselling and recruitment support. => Friday 15 May NON live video: On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, a video explaining its content and purpose is presented. At the end the European Social Charter will also be introduced, a convention created around the European Convention on Human Rights, revised in 1996. Link to the video on Facebook
