From the 19th to the 31st of May 2022 were held in Venice a series of events in the initiative EMD - European Maritime Day

European Maritime Day (EMD) is an annual event in which the maritime european community reunites to look through, debate and outline actions on maritime affairs and on susteinable blu economy. 

The events included in the initiative European Maritime Day offer an interactive experience, that involves and complete to start with a vast number of topics related to the blue economy and the marine environment, and to discuss about a future plan of actions. A big number of excellent speakers, theme related sessions, workshops from interested parties, and presentation of new projects organized by interested parties and the European Commission. EMD addresses to the people, workers from companies, governments, public institutions, NGOs, and the academic world.

The 2022 edition of the European Maritime Day has as headquarters in Europe the city of Ravenna. The main theme of this year is the susteinable blue economy for a green reprise.
