Programe activities for schools in Veneto a.s. 2021-2022

Europe Direct of the municipality of Venice, it is an informative service of the European Commission, which operates on the veneto territories to increase the knowledge and the debate pf european topics, in particular addressed to the youth and schools. The service prepared for the school year 2021/2022 n.7 proposals which are addressed to teachers and students in the veneto territories which are divided between middle schools and high schools.
Europe Direct of the municipality of Venice has as veneto partner the MI - USR Ufficio Regional Academic Office for the Veneto Region which helps through this activity for the year 2021-2022.
 
The proposal are eventually available in distance learning mode if necessary for Covid containment. 
Teachers can agree to the proposals (it is possible to agree to more than one proposal), sending an email to conferm at: infoeuropa@comune.venezia.it.
 
7 proposals completely free of charge (it is possible to adheere to more than one):
 
MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSES
PROPOSAL 1 for classes 
Module recreational-educational "Europe enters in class", to explain the European Union, to discover the different habits and costumesof the 27 member States and to learn the key concepts of European citizenship. See details.
=> At middle schools in the Veneto region, January-April 2022 (dato to be agreed with the schools - online meetings are also availble) 
The module is inserted in Educational Itineries of the municipality of Venice

HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES 
PROPOSAL 2 for the classes 
Series of meetings "At school in Europe", lessons to explain the italian and european citizenship (history, institutions, citizenship, and mobility) to the younger generations with a specialized panel of people. 
=> At high schools in the Veneto region, January-March 2022 (date to be agreed with the schools - online meetings are also available) 
The module is inserted in Educational Itineries of the Municipality of Venice

PROPOSAL 3 for the classes
Attendance to Contest "Let's become european citizens" 2021-2022 individual or class partecipation with an essay or a graphic production in collaboration with FEM Federalist European Movement (prize: european holiday and training in a country in the European Union). See detailns on the competition notice 2021-2022
=> Award ceremony: Mestre, headquarter of the Metropolitan city of Venice, May 2022 (the meeting is also available online)

PROPOSAL 4 for the classes 
Conference-debate "Europe for the youth" and award ceremony for the contest "Let's become European citizen" in collaboration with FEM Federalist European Movement in occation of Europe Day celebration. See details in the 2021 edition

PROPOSAL 5 for the classes 
Educational exhibition of "The founding mothers and fathers of the European Union" exhibition of 22 bilingual panels (Italian and English) of key people who inspired the creation of the European Union. Assembly, inauguration and dismantling by Europe Direct. See details on the 2021 edition 
=> At hogh schools in the Veneto region, January 2021- May 2022 (periods of 2-3 weeks to be agreed with the schools

PROPOSAL 6 for the classes 6 
Educational virtual module "Diploma in a pocket", virtual lesson on educational transnational mobility with study and work opportunities abroad for high school and university students on abroad orientation post diploma.

PROPOSAL 7 for teachers
Formative-informative module on civic european education "Cycle of events on the European Union", the objective is to give the fundamental on european subjects to teachers, students and all the citizens. The course is inserted in the academic programe of the Association Nicola Saba, which consists in lessons that are also possible to check singularly.
For teachers the module include also a visit to the M9 - Museum of the '900 of Mestre-Venezia: the access to the museum is free and the guided tour has a path which is Europe themed.
