Competition "Let's become European citizens" a.y. 2022/2023

The "Let's become European citizens" a.s. 2022/2023 competition for young people and schools, organised by the European Federalist Movement in collaboration with Europe Direct del Comune di Venezia, was held again this year to stimulate active and aware European citizenship.
Competition was for students in the three-year course of secondary schools in the Veneto Region.
Deadline for submission: 15 April 2023
 
The competition was based on a choice of one of the following tests:
- WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT: article, short essay, theme, report, term paper, etc.; maximum 4 pages or 5 folders.
- GRAPHIC and MULTIMEDIA ASSIGNEMENT: format of your choice; all techniques allowed, including multimedia.

The winners were officially awarded in May 2023 during the conference-debate "Europe for young people", which also hosted the award ceremony for the competition "Let's become European citizens". Go to the 2022 prize-giving page.

The winners were rewarded with a European holiday and training in July 2023.

Cycle of meetings "At school in Europe"
To encourage participation in the competition and to stimulate the European debate, schools could request a meeting at their premises organised by the Europe Direct del comune di Venezia and the MFE Movimento Federalista Europeo, on the topics of European citizenship, European institutions, transnational educational mobility and the priorities of the new European Parliament and European Commission.
