Meetings about mobility in Europe
The Europe Direct-Eurodesk service of the Municipality of Venice promotes "Explore the world ... Veneto in Movimento!" set of 3 information meetings for citizens on the topic of mobility in Europe, in collaboration with the Eurocultura Association of Vicenza (speaker Bernd Faas consultant of Eurocultura and expert on international mobility).
Studying, training, working, volunteering abroad, activities that increase people's skills, promote personal development, adaptability and increase their employability. The youth mobility, meant as a valuable opportunity for growth, is the key to unlock the potential of people, regardless of their age and the social context they live in. The mobility experience should be seen in a perspective of "lifelong learning", aimed not only at acquiring new skills but also at the "social and civic" development of the person.

The cycle of meetings "Explore The World - Veneto in Movimento" happens in Veneto thanks to the collaboration between:
- Europe Direct Service of the Municipality of Venice,
- Informacittà of the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa,
- Urban Center of the Municipality of Thiene,
- Youth Project of the Municipality of Valdagno
- Informagiovani - Youth Project of the Municipality of Padua
and involves various offices located between Venice, Thiene (VI), Bassano del Grappa (VI) and Valdagno (Vi) and Padua.
The meetings focus on various topics of youth interest: from Green Jobs, to working abroad in specific areas such as architecture, urban planning, culture, art and visual and multimedia communication, deepening the interventions dedicated to study abroad and orientation of young people in the last years of high school.
Our journey in Europe and its surroundings continues since 2011 with the "Let's Move" series of meetings and from 2012 to 2016 with the cycle of meetings "Explore the world ... Veneto in Movimento!" .

The "Explore the World - Veneto in Movimento" project includes the distribution of the DVD "The world in your pocket", a virtual lesson on transnational educational mobility on post-graduate and graduate orientation abroad.
