From Wednesday 29 May until Sunday 2 June 2024 the Venice Boat Show was held at the Venice Arsenal.
The Venice Boat Show returned with its fifth edition from Wednesday 29 May to Sunday 2 June 2024, with 4 days of event. In 2024 Venice returned to host one of the main international trade fairs dedicated to boating. The exhibition venue is always the Arsenal of Venice, symbol of the centuries-old military dominion of the Serenissima Republic and the beating heart of its naval industry. An incomparable historical context right in the center of Venice, composed of a water basin and fully restored ancient pavilions.
The exhibition spaces were distributed over a water basin, with 50,000 mq and over 1,000 linear meters of display piers, 240 moorings dedicated to yachts and superyachts, sailing boats and other types of boats. An outdoor exhibition space of 30,000 mq, and an indoor exhibition space of 5,000 mq. The excellence of international pleasure boating was present.
An event that explored every aspect of sailing and building boats: design, engines, environment.
The Venice Boat Show was promoted by the City of Venice and created through the company Vela spa, in collaboration with the Italian Navy.
On the occasion of the Venice Boat Show, an information desk of the Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice was set up at the CNR-ISMAR Institute of Marine Sciences, Tesa 104, Arsenale di Venezia with information material on the European Union and the Green Deal distributed free of charge while copies last.
