06.03.2024 Meeting with the Civil Service of the Municipality of Venice

Cycle of meetings "The European Union for Young People" in view of the European elections.

Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice is organising a series of meetings, totally free of charge, for young people in the area at secondary schools or associations and groups of young people in the Veneto region in view of the forthcoming European elections.
The meetings are concentrated between March and April 2024 and their duration is about 1-2 hours with an interactive approach.

Wednesday 6 March 2024: Civil Service of the Municipality of Venice - Auditorium Lippiello in Mestre - Venice

About 70 young people attended today the information meeting on the European Elections 2024, held at the Auditorium Lippiello in Mestre - Venice at Guglielmo Ciardi Street, 45. The event was organised by the Servizio Civile del Comune di Venezia in cooperation with Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice.

The students showed great interest and participation, actively working together to explore the topic of European elections and their role as European citizens.

The meeting was a valuable opportunity for the young people to understand the importance of the European vote and its impact on their future, to learn about the functioning of the European Parliament and its competences, to reflect on the key issues of the European Union and the challenges facing the continent. The enthusiasm and commitment of the participants demonstrate the growing awareness among young people of the importance of being active and informed European citizens.
