Town Twinnings and Collaboration Agreements
Over the years, Venice has signed Twinning Protocols and Cooperation agreements with other cities and institutions with an aim to share common characteristics, historical connections and issues.
These Protocols and Agreements are aimed in particular at:
- strengthening relations and solidarity between the two twinned cities;
- creating models of cooperation as well as technical and cultural exchanges;
- promoting experience sharing in the fields of the Environment, Education, Youth, Health, and Strategic Planning;
- facilitating exchanges in the areas of Business, Culture, Tourism and Social activities;
- sharing market research surveys and jointly taking part in fairs and exhibitions;
- encouraging the creation of joint initiatives participated by companies and entrepreneurs from the two cities, to promote business exchanges.
