25.11.2024 Conference 'Women's Time. A time for all'

To mark November, 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, established by the UN in 1999, the conference ‘Women's Time. A time for all’ was held in Venice on Monday, November, 25 2024 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the Aula Baratto of Ca' Foscari University of Venice (Dorsoduro 3246). The aim of the event was to create awareness on what has been done, is being done and still can be done to combat violence against women.

HOW TO REACH AULA BARATTO

At 3.00 p.m., there was Inauguration Ceremony of the Red Bench at the San Giobbe Economic Campus (Cannaregio 810).

The event was organised by Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice, Ca' Foscari University of Venice (Department of Economics), Comitato Unico di Garanzia (CUG), Archivio Scritture Scrittrici Migranti (Migrant Women Writers Archive), DEP, Società Italiana delle Storiche.
