With your studies nearing completion or as a new graduate, abroad becomes an ideal option to dedicate time to personal and professional growth. In particular, when the job opportunities in Italy do not correspond to your expectations or are scarce due to the economic situation.

From an internationalization perspective, companies and organizations are increasingly looking for people who have had at least one study or work experience abroad. In fact, to fit into the current job market more easily, technical skills are not enough, you need to know how to move with ease in an international context, that is, speak foreign languages ​​fluently and know the culture, behavior and way of thinking of the interlocutor. 

During the intervention promoted by the Europe Direct-Eurodesk service of the Municipality of Venice as part of Explore the world...Veneto in Movimento! a cycle of information meetings intended for citizens on the topic of mobility in Europe, the speaker Bernd Faas presents an updated overview of trends and possible destination countries for the realization of training and working periods to support the construction of a career in the name of internationality.

Bernd Faas has been operating in the international mobility sector for over 25 years. His professional experience concerns orientation, preparation and implementation of activities abroad in the fields of work, internships, training and volunteering.
Eurocultura of Vicenza has been dealing with international mobility since 1993. Orientation consultancy, webinars and "Career Academy" seminars and the "Muoversi" and "InGermania" newsletters are some of the tools that allow users to define the appropriate path to grow personally and professionally through a period abroad.
