Kedke - Greece (2000)

In January 2000, in application of EEC Regulation No. 2137/85, the Municipality of Venice and the Central Association of Municipalities and Communities of Greece (KEDKE) established the European Economic Interest Group (E.E.I.G.) Marco Polo System to promote and implement community projects in the field of transnational cultural and tourism issues, with particular reference to the preservation and protection of the artistic and architectural heritage.
